What was the best book you’ve read and why?
As a child, “The Hobbit” by JRR Tolkein, as it stoked my imagination and sense of exploration.  As an adult, “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell, because it makes me appreciate what others do to make our lives safer.

Proper planning is the best tool to handle all life’s issues; personal, financial and otherwise.

Ryan Delaney joined Integrated Wealth Management in February 2015.  As Chief Financial Officer, Ryan is responsible for the firm’s overall financial operations.  Ryan also assists advisors with business metrics and strategic reporting.

Throughout Ryan’s 20-year career he has been involved in the financial services industry serving institutional and high net worth clients in a variety of capacities.  Prior to joining Integrated Wealth Management, Ryan was a member of the Alternative Investment Group at Morgan Stanley.  He was responsible for alternative investment sales in the Southwest, which included hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity, real estate, and managed futures.  Ryan’s prior experience also includes 15 years in the hedge fund and fund of funds industry where he was responsible for performance analysis, risk management and manager research for two different fund of funds businesses.  Ryan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of University of California, Riverside.  In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
