The life lessons learned from having children.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
“Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions, small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too, can become great.” ~ Mark Twain, a quote given to me by my mom over ten years ago in a moment of defeat, which still rings in my mind every day.
How do you define success?
Finding true happiness in whatever it is I am doing.
What is your proudest achievement?
After years of doubting I could do it, becoming a great mom. In addition, overcoming many obstacles professionally, being that I started in the financial industry at a very young age in a difficult environment. Maintaining valuable relationships with my clients through the economically toughest years and coming out more confident.
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Don’t depend on others, always look out for yourself. Others literally aren’t going to look out for you.
What was the best book you’ve read and why?
I've read too many books over the years that strike different chords. It is difficult to choose just one.

Lisa Beaty joined Integrated Wealth Management in April 2014. She is a Financial Advisor with The Cypress Group at Integrated Wealth Management. In her role, Lisa participates in the portfolio review and financial planning process, as well as maintains client relationships. Lisa brings over nine years of experience, and began her career as a wealth management analyst, transitioned into a financial advisory role for five years, and then to Client Service Associate. Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from California State University, San Bernardino. She enjoys being active outdoors, including hiking, running, Crossfit and spending time with her husband and two children.
